FAQ – PHILOXENIA Greek Language School
Operational clarity, enrollment workflow, online participation rules, and policy references—consolidated in one place.
How do I enroll in a Greek course at PHILOXENIA?
Enrollment is completed after you submit a pre-registration request (online, by phone, or in-person) and finalize payment according to the program’s published terms. Availability is confirmed based on capacity and level placement.
Do you offer placement testing before I join a level?
Yes. Placement is aligned with CEFR standards (A1–C2) to ensure you are assigned to an academically appropriate class. This safeguards learning pace, class cohesion, and measurable progress.
What is your refund & cancellation policy for standard programs?
Standard programs follow the published Refund & Cancellation Policy. If PHILOXENIA cancels a program, paid tuition is refunded in full under the stated terms.
Do Special Programs have different refund terms?
Yes. Special Programs (private courses, closed groups, tailor-made corporate training, fixed-seat intensives) may have a separate Refund & Cancellation Policy. If a special policy is published for that program, it prevails.
How do online and hybrid classes work?
Online sessions run live via a tele-education platform. Hybrid classes combine in-room teaching with real-time remote participation. Students are expected to follow the Hybrid & Online Class Etiquette Policy.
Can I record lessons or share class materials?
Recording, screenshots, or redistribution of class content is prohibited without prior written consent, in line with privacy, intellectual property, and classroom integrity standards.
When do you issue a Certificate of Attendance?
Certificates are issued when attendance and financial obligations meet the published threshold (commonly 90% attendance) and the academic requirements of the program are fulfilled.
