Refund & Cancellation Policy

PHILOXENIA Greek Language School

Applicable to in-person and online programs

1. General Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to standard in-person and distance learning programs offered by PHILOXENIA Greek Language School, unless otherwise explicitly stated.

For Special Programs (customized, intensive, private, tailor-made, or closed-group programs), a separate Refund & Cancellation Policy may apply, as described in the specific program terms.
In such cases, the Special Program policy shall prevail.

2. Cancellation by PHILOXENIA

In the event that a program or seminar is cancelled due to responsibility attributable to PHILOXENIA Greek Language School:

• All tuition fees paid are fully refunded to the participants.

PHILOXENIA also reserves the right to:

• Change program dates

• Postpone program start dates

Participants are informed in a timely manner via telephone, SMS, and/or email.

If, following a rescheduling or postponement, a participant:

• Does not wish to attend the program on the new date, and

• Does not wish to transfer the paid amount to another program or service of PHILOXENIA,

then the full amount paid is refunded.

PHILOXENIA further reserves the right to change the classroom or training venue when operationally required.

3. Withdrawal by the Participant

In cases of withdrawal initiated by the participant, the following rules apply:

• Up to 30 days before the program start date
  ✅ 100% refund of the paid amount

• Up to 15 days before the program start date
  ✅ 50% refund of the paid amount

• Less than 15 days before the start date or after the program has begun
  ❌ No refund is granted, even if the participant has not attended any sessions

4. Transfer of Tuition Fees

When no refund is applicable, PHILOXENIA offers the option to:

• Transfer the paid tuition to another program,
  provided that the alternative program is completed within the same academic year (September–July).

This option is offered as a facilitation measure and does not constitute a refund.

5. Special Programs – Priority of Specific Terms

PHILOXENIA Greek Language School may offer Special Programs, including but not limited to:

• Private or semi-private courses

• Intensive or accelerated programs

• Customized corporate or institutional training

• Closed or invitation-only groups

• Programs with limited seats, fixed schedules, or pre-allocated instructors

For such programs:

• A separate Refund & Cancellation Policy may apply

• The applicable policy is explicitly stated in the program description or agreement

• If a Special Program policy exists, it supersedes the present general policy

Participants are responsible for reviewing and accepting the specific terms applicable to the program they choose.

6. Acceptance

Enrollment in any program of PHILOXENIA Greek Language School constitutes full knowledge and acceptance of this Refund & Cancellation Policy, as well as any program-specific policies where applicable.
