Thessaloniki is one of the most accessible cities in Greece, strategically connected by air, rail, road, sea, and intercity coach services. The city is served by Macedonia International Airport (SKG), offering direct flights to dozens of international and domestic destinations. Thessaloniki is also a major railway hub with national and international train connections, an extensive intercity bus network via KTEL Macedonia, and direct road access through Egnatia Odos and the E75 motorway. The city’s port further strengthens its role as a gateway to the Balkans, Central Europe, and the Mediterranean.

Thessaloniki holds a strategic position in Greece and Southeast Europe, functioning as a major transportation hub with direct access by air, rail, road, sea, and coach services. Whether arriving for studies, business, or cultural exploration, the city offers multiple, reliable entry points supported by modern infrastructure and international connections.
